Remember that even when the trees on your property are doing well that is the always the right time to take proactive measures to ensure continued health. One of the best ways to augment and sustain the health of your trees is to fertilize them.

Fertilization for Healthy Trees:

Fertilization is among the best proactive approaches to maintain your trees.

Trees require certain nutrients to maintain growth and to stay healthy. These nutrients are found on the forest floor –through the decay of leaves, animals and water. The elements that make up these nutrients are nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium to name a few. They are what we call Macronutrients for trees. The trees also need other elements such as iron, manganese, and zinc. These are some of the micronutrients necessary to tree health.

Since many homes don’t have nutrient-rich soil, the trees and plants need to be fertilized to ensure their optimal health. That is where we come in! We can bring in fresh soil or add natural nutrients to your soil. All of the fertilizers we use are organically based, in an effort to take an 100% environmentally friendly approach.

Trees that are already weak and stressed can succumb to tree diseases and insect infestations. This is why it is important and wise to consult with a Certified Arborist who will be able to identify, diagnose, and treat these trees as early as possible for the optimal outcome.

Our goal is to save the tree. That is always the goal. Furthermore, we want to heal the tree without jeopardizing other living plants and animals in the habitat of the tree. We prefer to heal nature with nature.

Natural Pesticides, Fungicides and Antibiotics are some of the ways we can try to heal a tree which appears to be in decline.

All of the treatment methods that we use are always and only consistent with eco-conscious values. All our pesticides, fungicides, and antibiotics are injected directly into the tree trunk via self-contained, little vials. They look like small pipes. The tree soaks up the substance and begins to heal. Once the vial is empty, the arborist can easily and safely remove the vial from the base of the tree and safely dispose of it. In many cases it takes a few rounds or years to bring a tree back to health.
